Thank you & New Opportunities to SAVE!

Our Summer Solstice sale is now over and we wanted to send out a genuine word of THANKS to all of you who stopped by. Your commitment to shopping locally makes a big difference in all of our lives.

We did want to mention that, Julie's Lampwork Trunk Show will be extended until Sunday, when Julie is having the What To Do With Lampwork Workshop. So, if you didn't get a chance to come in and see her stunning beads, there's still time!

Knits & Pearls is here because we truly believe it is important for people to nurture their creativity. Even in the best of times we seem to run out of the time and resources to pamper ourselves. So, we've been brainstorming about how to continue helping.

Beginning in July, we'll be having monthly specials to supplement our already-low prices and our incomparable clearance selection. To start you off, from July 1st to July 31st we're going to offer the majority of our glass bead selection at 50% off, and our Opal & Skacel sock yarns will be 25% off. So, start planning some projects because we'll be waiting with your supplies!

New Summer Ideas and More Yarn

We couldn't wait to tell you that we recently received more colors of the lovely Luna Paints yarn from Cascade.

Cascade Luna Paints

Some projects using Luna Paints:

We also wanted to give you some ideas for summer knitting projects. When we took a look on Ravelry for these free patterns we were looking for projects that were small or projects for summer clothes that wouldn't take very long and that wouldn't use heavy yarn. We certainly don't get excited about knitting heavy winter sweaters when it's warm out, and doubt you do either.

If you haven't signed up for Ravelry yet, take a look at this previous blog post for a step-by-step description of the sign-up process. Click on the images below to go to the Ravelry page for the projects.
